In this way, Mahindra Racing ensured his first podium of the season 2018/2019.
Unfortunately the situation of career was distinct for Felix. In spite of an impressive beginning that spent him to the 14º place at the end of the first turn, to surpass afterwards to Gary Paffett and Nelson Piquet Jr in the sixth turn, that planted him in situation to go in in the zone of points. But it saw obliged to removed in the turn 8 after suffering the same technical problem that detained his performance in the session of qualification.
The second round of the Championship of Formula And ABB FIA 2018/2019 will take place the Saturday 12 January 2019 in Marrakech, Morocco.
Jérôme D'Ambrosio: “it Has been an amazing way to begin the fifth season and think that expect us days very good if we follow working as we do it. I played of sure form at the beginning to try save something of energy but always maintaining me the sufficiently near to struggle by the best position. I have had a pair of difficult seasons, so it is genial begin this new relation with the squad of this so fantastic way. In the future we have to begin to struggle by the championship. There are some difficult competitors by here, since the Formula And is turn one of the most competitive championships of the world”.
Felix Rosenqvist: “it Felt the operation of the car as if had a lot of speed but was a bit difficult to handle; it was not one of these days in which you seat you really sure, but also is necessary to take that we did not have a lot of practice with the M4Electro Gen2, so all was a bit difficult to guess. Afterwards we had a mechanical problem in the qualification that did that we suffered a big delay in the grill and in the career sucedió the same. I am sad. I could not add points for the squad and is a pity, since I think that could have had a very good result today. Anyway, it was amused to be back and am very happy by Jérôme and by Mahindra that could go up to the podium”.
Dilbagh Gill: “I am absolutely loved with all the squad and with Jérôme, has been perfect to begin the season going up to the podium. Besides, this has been the fourth consecutive season in which we have achieved it in the first career of the campaign. Wail a lot that Félix have suffered a technical problem so much in the classification as in the career since, without this incident, am sure that it also would have had a very good resulted this weekend. It is a good beginning for us and will enjoy it, although our attention now is focused to tope in the next career of Marrakech and in improving. We want that our two cars are at the top, since this weekend have been able to show that have the rhythm”.
