Mahindra Racing In front of the season 2018/2019 of Formula
• The championship will initiate on 15 December in Saudi Arabia

Montmeló, 15 November 2018.– With the new monoplazas M5Electro Gen2 to few days to be shipped with fate to Saudi Arabia, Mahindra Racing follows to good rhythm the preparativos for the season 2018/2019 of the championship ABB FIA of Formula And, that will start in this country of Middle East on 15 December next. This season, fifth in the history of the FAITH, will see a complete remodeling in the heart of the Indian squad, since to the new pilot of the squad, the German Pascal Wehrlein, and the Belgian Jérôme D'Ambrosio, joins the utilisation of a new monoplaza –identical for all the squads–, with important possibilities of improvement and tuned by the motor-racing teams.
The change of the monoplaza anterior (M4electro) to the new (M5Electro) has developed applying all the experiences obtained by Mahindra Racing in the anterior seasons, in which it has been one of the leading squads. The technical squad, capitaneada by the Spanish company QEVtech, and the new pilot took part in the days of private essays that took place does some days in the Circuit Ricardo Tormo of Valencia. The feelings and the times that obtained the squad have been considered as very positive.
The big technological change of the season is the appearance of the vehicles, with a look netamente futuristic, that distinguishes of monoplazas of other championships of international formulas of big calado, although the most notable is what does not see . The biggest batteries and mainly more stable to thermal level, with a system of regeneration of energy very evolved, will allow that this year a same vehicle contest entirely all the career, without need to change of car to his half, what already of in case it is a revolution.
The increase of autonomy, together with electrical engines and other mechanical elements also new, allowed a spectacular discount of the times by turn with regard to the monoplazas anterior, what will do to augment his competitiveness. Also the covers Michelin will be again composed, in accordance with some cars that will suppose a big technological advance. Also the graphic design of the M5Electro has evolved to reflect a new and stimulating staged, that inspires in the emblematic symbols of the Indian: the tiger of Flare and the flower of loto.
For this season Dilbagh Gill continues like director of the squad Mahindra Racing and Joan Orús like technical director.
The pilots for 2018/2019 already announced does weeks: Pascal Wehrlein (ex pilot of F1 and champion DTM 2015) and Jérôme D'Ambrosio (double winner in careers of the Formula And). By his part, Nick Heidfeld, ex official pilot, will assume a new place like special aide and pilot of essays and of reservation, whereas the Belgian Sam Dejonghe continues exerting his paper of pilot of simulator and of development.

The first competition of Formula And of the season 2018/2019 will carry in Ad Diryiah, Saudi Arabia, the 15 December. They will follow other 12 careers in Marrakesh, Santiago of Chile, Mexico City, Hong Kong, Sanya (China),Rome, Paris, Monaco, Berlin, Berne and New York (2 tests).
