New XUV300

There was demorado Mahindra in beginning to take advantage of the technology developed by SsangYong, the Korean mark of his property from 2011. To the date, this last has renewed all his range and launched new models (Rexton, XLV, Stavic, Musso, Korando),whereas from the Indian only exit minor updates in models with several years to slope (XUV500, PikUp).

But now it arrives the Mahindra XUV300, a SUV compact built taking advantage of the platform of the SsangYong Tivoli, that is prompt to debut in the Indian, before taking a ship to arrive to the European market.

Known with the code S201, the XUV300 measures some 4 metres of long, by what fits in the segment SUV-B, and in Indian position it like competitor of the Suzuki Vitara and of the Ford Ecosport, among others.

In matter of design offers a similar style to the restyling of the XUV500, especially in the steps of wheel, although modernizado, with a more western style.

It shows a horizontal grill joined to focus full LED, diurnal lights in shape of búmeran, a big taking of low air, an ascending waist and a line of ceiling in reverse sense, in addition to pillars darkened to give the feeling of floating ceiling. The silhouette remembers us clearly to the Tívoli, this is sure.

The habitáculo is wide for five occupants, with a design of board where highlights a tactile screen head office with connectivity to Apple CarPlay and Android Car, a steering wheel multifunción and a display digital among the bookmarks.

The mark indicated that the most instrumented versions will offer 7 airbags, control of stability, dual air-conditioner, ceiling of glass and system keyless with button of party, among others.

Under the hood, the Mahindra XUV300 will offer an engine turbodiésel 1.5 litres with 120 Hp and 300 Nm, and a new petrol of three cylinders, 1.2 litres turbo, developed in set with SsangYong. Both will be associated to a manual box of 6 courses and will offer with simple traction or 4x4.

The new XUV300 of Mahindra will launch in Indian on 9 February 2019 and the mark expects to launch a version 100% electrical for 2020.
